lol..Id need a aser..to as it, im clueless aboot the coding thing O_o, well I have a decent idea of it but not enought to actually pull it off alone..otherwise a box on the upper left hand side would have three empty slots..being the sword, and either from your inventory or some other kind of holding thing for the orbs you would drag the orbs into the empty slots..
also side scroller would be best just cos I could make it puzzleing..like to get past a gap theres a lever on the other side..and you have to make your sword longer to hit it so like a bride appears..god I think too much lol
add the arch sword, it gives it a shooting, like the hand thingy, forma gun, then a sword instead of a barrel, like that, and a long sword, would make.............. a long ways sword gun that shoots, whatever you can think of, add oath, and the weapon won't break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the first idea. If its going to be a rpg you can kill bosses for secret orbs that are very strong. For example, a Odin Orb (named after some god or the bosses name or w/e) can give you strength and length while giving you some extra ability like jumping. And to fight the final boss you have to use all the extra abilities to beat him. Anyway, I like that idea. :P
